Distributed Embedded Control System using Time Division Scheduling for Implementing Internet of Things to Driverless Car (AutonomousVehicle)

چکیده
Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated in its first ever Global Status Report on Road Safety that speeding in vehicles is one of the main contributing factors in road accidents. This paper presents a solution to reduce the number of collisions in the road with the help of distributed embedded control system model. Both time triggered and event triggered processing are combined in this model. Distributed embedded computing platform along with Internet of Things is implemented for a driverless autonomous car. This computing environment uses time division scheduling mechanism which is interfaced with web is discussed. The model is experimented with real time hardware setup consisting of CAN nodes, sensors, actuator and connectivity to web. The results from experiments show that this computing environment can be applied to a driverless car which can be monitored and controlled over web. Further the smart phone with APPS of this web application can enable us to control the speed of the vehicle if it seems to be abnormal, thus avoid accidents due to manual driving.

Automated Argumentation Among Internet of Things: A Case Study for Driverless Vehicles
Internet of Things must rely on their agent counterparts (IoA) in order to achieve shared and competing objectives. We have considered the production of sets of arguments that support different objectives at the same time. This will lead to myriad forms of contradictions. We present an account of automated argumentation system that facilitate contradictions using a system of social voting. We h...

The static and analytic scheduling approach is very difficult to follow and is not always applicable in real-time. Most of the scheduling algorithms are designed to be established in offline environment. However, we are challenged with three characteristics in real cases: First, problem data of jobs are not known in advance. Second, most of the shop’s parameters tend to be stochastic. Third, th...

Introduction: To cope with natural and unnatural critical events such as air crashes, car accidents, chemicals and earthquakes or floods needs powerful resource management. Some of these critical events are tiny and by using local and available resources management could be resolved, but some cover extended geographical areas and so need a massive, vast resources and high level management for e...
